Grand Piano Baldwin 1953 model R. Beautifully restored original. Ebony. Black
I have owned it for 50 years.. My father bought it for me when I was 9 or so (50 years ago).. The piano was manufactured in 1953 (the best years).. It still has the "original" white keys.. White keys has the typical color from age (organic), There is some yellowing in white keys which is normal for this..
Beautiful in my opinion and rare... I have been playing that one most all the time.. The Baldwin was tuned when it arrived here and played sometimes since arriving here..
It was tuned one time since the restore and it still is in pretty good tune.. But will surly require a tune after moved. Even the pin board looks like it was replaced/restored.. I encourage seeing it in person.. Please ask if more info or more photos is needed. Appraised at 12500.00-15000.00. But because it does have several very small scrapes, nicks from the move..Which I'm sure can be touched up by pro... Price is low and very reasonable, considering the cost of resto.. They just don't make these Baldwins like this anymore!
