Rare Custom Steinway & Sons Model D Steinway Factory Restored in 2003 (OEM 1987)

  

Built in 1987 & Steinway Factory Restored in 2003 with a New Sounboard, Pinblock, & Strings. This Piano Serial #502310 was 1 of a Very Limited run of Pianos Custom made by Steinway with German Kluge Klaviaturen 1 Piece I4E Keys! Kluge still makes Keys for Steinway but not like these.

All of the other Action Parts including the Hammers, Shanks, and Flanges, and Whippens were replaced with new Genuine Steinway Parts.. Recently, (2020) The Piano has been again Refurbished by a Steinway Factory Trained Technician in Southern California. The Piano has been Tuned, Regulated, and Voiced. Concert Prepared on the Inside by a Steinway Factory Trained Piano Technician! The Action Parts are still in Excellent Condition as can be seen in the Photos.

The Hand Rubbed Satin Finish has been Touched Up from normal wear but may show minor signs of use. It has been Professionally Restored to it's Original Show Room Finish and all of the Brass Hardware, Pedals and Hinges have been Re-Plated to Like New Condition.
