Steinway Grand 1906 Louis XV Model A in Ebony Satin Perfect Restoration
This instrument was selected for restoration because of the 1906 build year of the Art Case and the foundry location of the harp. The tonal quality of the original sounding board is unmatched as with the harmonics from the harp... Typical of that period in early 1900. As for the Art Case, well nothing else can be said except... When side by side to contemporary Steinway Louis XV you can only appreciate the "old world" craftsmanship long lost in the ornate carvings and engravings of that period. This instrument is a Stradivarius of Steinways. Full Restoration Completed in 2007 by Steinway Dealer, Graves Piano for our daughter's training and competitive career. Sound board, harp, true ivory keys, and action is original, though action was fully rebuilt with factory Steinway components and regularly tuned for competitive play.
Fully maintained by well know Steinway Concert Technician. Comes with original restored Steinway bench, 1 extra Steinway practice bench, and heavy custom cover. Steinway Number: 133981 Full Restoration: 2007.
