Steinway New York grand piano. This is a model A grand piano from Steinway in New York USA. Original black ebonised casework in original mildly stressed condition. I estimate this piano to have originally been made in the late 1890s. It can be seen that the piano has been restrung, has new hammers and dampers, new pins & agraffes, new felts, etc.

It can also be seen that the piano retains its original soundboard, and it has been professionally repaired in places. Original elephant leg style legs with hidden castors.

My test is always if i can comfortably get through the fast section on Rondo Alla Turca, and it was just effortless with your Model A. The lovely metallic, bell-like, sound that is typically Steinway was definitely there with the treble notes. I dont think anyone could get bored of hearing it!
