Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand

  

Up for sale is a refurbished Steinway Model D, serial number 62367. The new owner had the piano refurbished with a new pin block, re-gilded plate, new strings, tuning pins, hammers, dampers, refinished ebony case, and new legs. The sound board was not replaced as it was in excellent condition.

The original bench with a burgundy velvet cushion is included with the piano. The history of the piano is documented with information from Steinway & Sons in a letter to the second owner in 1987, including an original catalog. This is a superb instrument with a vibrant sound including a huge bass, clear middle section, and bell-like upper register. The hardware on the piano is nickel silver.
