1979 Steinway Model L Grand Piano
1979 Steinway Model L Piano. We just had it inspected and it is considered to be in good to fair condition.
(See attached) It has been played a lot, but regularly serviced. It has a few chipped keys and about 1/3 of the strings have been replaced.
The finish on the lid is faded and it has a few other cosmetic flaws, but nothing major. There are no cracks in the soundboard, so it is tunable and playable as is. A serious piano player would probably want to have it rebuilt at some point, but it would be a great piano for a hobbiest or a beginner that wants to learn how to play on a really nice instrument.
