Chickering (by Baldwin) 410 Baby Grand. This is a high-quality American made piano manufactured by Baldwin which owned Chickering at the time. Featuring a 4' 10 scale design, this piano offers much more musically than its smaller frame may suggest. It has elements of the original Chickering design such as the wide tail for richer tone as well as Baldwin innovations like the Accu-just hitch pins for sustained tone in the treble. The wide tail allows for a bigger soundboard than in other pianos of equal or even greater size.

The tone is particularly warm and round for a small baby grand. This is a newer Baldwin Artist Series instrument that was built by Baldwin to the same standards as their famous M, R and L models. The piano has been maintained professionally and is in very good condition, having some light scratches and small chips on legs and side.
