An excellent tool for learning these skills as related to Grand Pianos, Square Grand Pianos and a few off-brand others. Parts and instructions to build your own action model of a single key of a Grand Piano. Useful as an aid to learning Piano Regulating and Repair, and also a nice display piece. This listing is for the full, unassembled kit with all pieces included - plans, action parts, hardware and mounting boards. Assembly is a simple process and requires only a few basic tools - a couple screwdrivers and perhaps a pair of pliers. Parts are pre-cut and ready to assemble. Instructions are clear and well written.

The entire process can be done in 2-4 hours. As this model is patterned after an actual grand piano, and made using actual piano action parts, it is an authentic, accurate representation of a grand piano and can be used to practice regulating of the piano action. As a learning tool, the assembly into a working model will impart a thorough understanding of the action itself and the processes and techniques necessary to service any piano.
