The sound of this impressive piano makes it perfect for studios, institutional applications, and conservatories, but its size makes it appropriate for home use as well. This piano belonged to the composer and artist, Naomi Caryl Hirshhorn, who was known for writing 4 of the songs in the Spoon River Anthology among many others.
She also spent time with Picasso in Mougins, France. To my knowledge, this piano hasn't been refurbished and will most likely need some work before it matches "new" quality. It is a beautiful American piano with much history, and if I had the room I'd keep it for myself. Please reach out with any questions.
