PAIR BOTH UPRIGHT & GRAND PIANO ACTION MODEL FULL KITS Learn Regulate & Repair
Excellent tools for learning these skills as related to Upright Pianos including Spinets, Grand Pianos, Square Grand Pianos and a few off-brand others. Parts and instructions to build your own action model of a single key of a an Upright Piano, and a single key of a Grand Piano. Useful as an aid to learning Piano Regulating and Repair, and also a nice display piece. This listing is for two full, unassembled kits with all pieces included - plans, action parts, hardware and mounting boards. Assembly is a simple process and requires only a few basic tools - a couple screwdrivers and perhaps a pair of pliers. Parts are pre-cut and ready to assemble. Instructions are clear and well written.
The entire process can be done in 2-4 hours. As these models are patterned after actual pianos, and made using actual piano action parts, they are authentic, accurate representations of an upright piano, and a grand piano and can be used to practice regulating of the piano actions. As a learning tool, the assembly into working models will impart a thorough understanding of the action itself and the processes and techniques necessary to service any piano. These skills are invaluable to any piano technician as well as a necessary requirement for membership in the Piano Technicians Guild.
