My home is also humidity controlled. It always remains covered when not in use.
It was way too much piano for a player of my caliber. It deserves to be in the hands of an artist. You can tell by looking at the hammers, which are original (never filed) and the overall condition of the Renner action, that it has been used very little. The tuning pins have retained like new tightness. This is without a doubt the most stable piano I have ever tuned. Some of my accomplished players/friends have called the sound "captivating".The bass is round, but crystal clear. The high register is bell like all the way to top. The flat tail allows for more sound board area. The craftsmanship is second to none. At 6'3 it weighs 794 lbs.
A Steinway Model B at 6'11 weighs approximately 750lbs. Pleyel closed their doors in late 2013. Since then, the P190 in mahogany with inlay has become quite rare as far as I can tell. I see one for sale in Europe occasionally but never in the US. Please note the last two photos.
In the first, looking down at the piano, you will notice a very thin line going with the grain of the soundboard. This appears to be a very small separation. The last picture is of the same section, but looking at the underside of the board.
There is no evidence of a separation by sight or by touching the board. It does not go all the way through. It is doubtful anyone would ever notice. I thought I should mention it never the less. The case is in excellent condition. My feedback speaks for itself. The item "PLEYEL GRAND PIANO EXQUISITE MAHOGANY CABINET MODEL P190 63" is in sale since Saturday, May 9, 2020.
